Recently described in 2026, this species is one of the most exciting new muricid discoveries from the Tortuga Terrace fauna and remains extremely scarce in collections. The species was named in my honor for contributions to the discovery and collection of the Dry Tortugas deep-water fauna.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis specimen displays the exaggerated frondose sculpture the species is known for. The shell shows beautiful cream-to-peach coloration with an especially attractive orange apex and strong layered varices covered in delicate frills and branching spines.
