Beautiful deep-water Calliostoma scalenum collected from Pulley Ridge, Dry Tortugas, Florida. This outstanding specimen displays rich bronze-brown coloration, sharply beaded spiral sculpture, and an exceptionally clean conical form with excellent symmetry.
Collected in 240–300 feet using baited lobster traps aboard the F/V AVA PILAR. The intricate texture and glossy finish give this species remarkable visual appeal, especially under lighting where the beaded sculpture stands out beautifully.
A very attractive deep-water top shell and an excellent representative specimen from the Pulley Ridge fauna.
