Beautiful deep-water Calliostoma scalenum collected from Pulley Ridge, Dry Tortugas, Florida. This exceptional specimen displays rich copper-brown coloration, sharply beaded spiral sculpture, and outstanding symmetry with a beautifully elevated conical profile.
Collected in 240–300 feet using baited lobster traps aboard the F/V AVA PILAR. The glossy finish and intricate texture give this shell remarkable visual appeal, especially under lighting where the fine beading and contrasting white markings stand out beautifully.
An outstanding representative specimen from the Pulley Ridge deep-water fauna and a beautiful addition to any serious collection.
