Cinctura tortugana – Dry Tortugas, FL – 90.2 mm – #0202FAS-TSC

A beautiful Cinctura tortugana collected from the famed Tortuga Terrace region of the Dry Tortugas. This specimen displays rich orange and cream coloration accented by bold dark spiral banding, creating the striking appearance that has made this species a favorite among Gulf deep-water collectors.

Personally collected aboard the F/V AVA PILAR using baited lobster traps set between 200 and 240 feet. Specimens from Tortuga Terrace are highly desirable due to their limited range and distinctive color patterns. This shell exhibits excellent gloss, strong color contrast, and outstanding display quality.

The vivid orange patterning combined with the crisp dark bands makes this an especially eye-catching specimen that will stand out in any advanced Florida or Gulf of Mexico collection.
