Distorsio mcgintyi – McGinty’s Distorsio – Pulley Ridge – 39.7mm

A very nice specimen of Distorsio mcgintyi, commonly known as McGinty’s Distorsio, a distinctive deep-water member of the family Personidae.

This species is well known for its heavily sculptured shell with pronounced ribs and nodules, along with its strongly twisted aperture typical of the genus Distorsio. This specimen displays attractive yellow-orange coloration with well-developed sculpture and a clean aperture, making it a desirable collector example.
