A spectacular Fasciolaria riverai Petuch & Berschauer, 2026, personally collected from the Dry Tortugas, Florida. This is one of the species named after me, Randy Rivera, recognizing my discovery and work with the deep-water molluscan fauna of the Dry Tortugas region.

Fasciolaria riverai was recently described in February 2026 and is especially recognizable by its distinctive tall, elongated spire, slender fusiform profile, long siphonal canal, and beautiful orange-red and cream patterning.

This is a particularly impressive 203 mm (approximately 8.0”) specimen with strong coloration and a beautiful overall form.

Beautiful specimen with excellent coloration and a very attractive distinctive spire. As a working deep-water trap-collected specimen, some minor imperfections may be present, normal for deep-water trap collected specimens. Please examine the photos carefully for exact condition.
