Beautiful matched pair specimen of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from deep-water lobster traps in the Dry Tortugas, Florida. This specimen displays attractive soft peach to cream coloration with fine ribbing, clean structure, and excellent symmetry between both valves.
A very appealing deep-water scallop with strong natural texture and classic form, collected from 160–180 feet aboard the F/V AVA PILAR. Specimens like this are highly desirable to collectors of Gulf and Caribbean deep-water Pectinidae.
