A very attractive matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus collected in deep water off the Dry Tortugas. Deep-water trap material from this region often produces well-sculptured specimens with strong coloration and intact detail.
These specimens were personally collected by me while commercial lobster fishing in the Dry Tortugas.
