Lindapecten muscosus (W. Wood, 1828) – Matched Pair – 21.6 mm x 19.7 mm – TSC #0655PEC-TSC

A beautiful matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from the deep waters of the Dry Tortugas. This specimen displays attractive pinkish-brown and cream coloration with bold arrowhead-like markings radiating across the shell surface. The dense, frilled sculpture and pronounced radial ribs create exceptional texture and visual appeal.

The exterior exhibits strong ornamentation with well-developed scales along the ribs, while the interior displays soft pearly cream tones with delicate pink highlights. Smaller matched pairs with this level of sculpturing and color contrast make excellent additions to specialized Gulf of Mexico and deep-water scallop collections.
