Naria turdus – Thrush Cowrie – Tortuga Terrace – 26.3mm

Beautiful Naria turdus personally collected from the Tortuga Terrace in the Dry Tortugas during lobster trapping operations. This specimen displays strong natural gloss with a rich cream base heavily covered in fine dark brown spotting.

The shell has a clean ovate shape, well-developed teeth, and excellent overall symmetry. Its attractive spotted pattern and glossy finish make it a desirable specimen for collectors of Caribbean and Florida cowries.

Personally collected by Randy Rivera via lobster trap from approximately 180 ft depths in December 2025.

Minor natural imperfections may be present, consistent with deep-water trap collected material.
