Scalptia crossei – Indonesia – 28.99 mm – Fine Quality

An attractive collector-quality specimen of Scalptia crossei, displaying beautiful cream, ivory, and golden-yellow coloration with a softly contrasting lavender-pink aperture. The shell's pronounced axial ribs, deeply sculptured whorls, and distinctive stepped spire give this specimen excellent character and visual appeal.

The exterior features strong, evenly spaced axial folds crossed by fine spiral sculpture, creating an intricate textured appearance. The elevated spire is nicely developed, while the broad outer lip frames a beautiful aperture with delicate pink and violet tones. A lovely example of this sculpturally distinctive species from Indonesian waters.

Collected by a local fisherman while diving at depths of 1–5 meters near Labuan Bajo, Sumbawa, Indonesia.
