Scaphella mercedesae 103.1 mm — TSC #0727VOL

A beautiful Scaphella mercedesae Petuch & Berschauer, 2026, personally collected from Pulley Ridge in the Dry Tortugas region. This recently described species was named in honor of my mother, Mercedes Hernandez.

This specimen displays a beautiful cream-colored background covered with bold dark brown spotting, a tall spire, and a smooth glossy finish. A very attractive example of this newly described species.
