This beautiful Chicoreus rachelcarsonae is a superb juvenile specimen featuring vibrant orange coloration, crisp sculpture, and exceptionally preserved fronds. Personally collected while commercial lobster fishing at Pulley Ridge in the Dry Tortugas, this shell represents one of the Gulf of Mexico’s most desirable deep-water muricids. Its outstanding color, sharp detail, and excellent preservation make it a wonderful addition to any advanced collection.
