Distorsio clathrata – Atlantic Distorsio – Dry Tortugas – 33.6mm – #0351PER-TSC

Beautiful deep-water Distorsio clathrata collected from the Dry Tortugas, Florida. This attractive specimen displays bold sculpturing, outstanding creamy yellow coloration, and sharply defined spiral cords giving it exceptional visual appeal.

Collected in 180 feet using baited lobster traps, this specimen represents a very desirable deep-water Distorsio with strong symmetry and a glossy fresh appearance. The thick varices and intricate texture make this species especially popular among collectors of unusual gastropods.
