A beautiful matched pair of Exellichlamys spectabilis displaying attractive cream, golden-yellow, soft orange, and brown coloration. This collector-quality scallop features a delicate fan-shaped profile, prominent radial ribs, and distinctive dark markings arranged along the raised sculpture.
The exterior displays a lovely combination of warm cream and peach tones with contrasting brown markings, while the interiors reveal a clean, pearly white finish with fine radial detailing. Both valves are present, making this a desirable addition to any worldwide Pectinidae collection.
Collected by a local fisherman while diving at depths of 5–30 meters near Bungin Island, Sumbawa, Indonesia, in July 2026.
