Fasciolaria tulipa – 178 mm (7.01”) – Key West, Florida – With Operculum

This beautiful Fasciolaria tulipa measures 178 mm (7.01 inches) and was personally collected off Key West, Florida in 200–220 feet using baited commercial lobster traps during October 2025. It displays attractive orange and cream coloration, a graceful elongated siphonal canal, and includes its original operculum. A very eye-catching specimen that would make an excellent addition to any Florida or Fasciolariidae collection.

Condition

A very attractive specimen with excellent natural color, strong gloss, and a well-preserved operculum. The shell has beautiful patterning and displays very nicely.

There is minor wear to the anterior siphonal canal, along with light growth marks consistent with a naturally grown specimen. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and accurately represent the condition of the shell.
