This impressive Fasciolaria tulipa is a large, personally collected specimen measuring 190 mm (7.48 inches). Recovered off Key West, Florida in 200–220 feet using baited commercial lobster traps, it displays outstanding orange and cream patterning, a glossy aperture, and comes with its original operculum.

Condition
A beautiful deep-water specimen with vibrant coloration and excellent overall presentation. There is a chip on the anterior siphonal canal, as shown in the photographs. Aside from this minor damage, the shell displays strong color, a glossy surface, and an attractive, well-preserved aperture.
