Beautiful True Tulip (Fasciolaria tulipa) personally collected from the Dry Tortugas, Florida during offshore lobstering operations aboard the F/V AVA PILAR.
This specimen measures 171.4 mm and features a classic elongated tulip profile with a broad body whorl, graceful siphonal canal, and rich caramel-to-chocolate patterning over a creamy base. The shell displays strong natural gloss and outstanding overall eye appeal.
One of the standout features of this specimen is the attractive deep-water coloration combined with the smooth flowing form that makes large Fasciolaria tulipa so desirable among collectors.
The aperture is clean and glossy, and the shell includes the original operculum.
