A beautiful matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus displaying rich orange-brown coloration with cream highlights and delicate, highly textured radial ribs. Both valves retain their natural sculpture and attractive color patterns, making this a desirable specimen for collectors of deep-water scallops.
Personally collected during commercial lobster fishing operations in the Dry Tortugas, Florida, from a baited lobster trap at depths of 200–220 feet.
