Lindapecten muscosus Pair – 24.6mm – Deep Water Trap Collected – Dry Tortugas – Tortugas Shell Collection

A very attractive matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected by me in deep water off the Dry Tortugas during commercial lobster operations. Specimens from 200–240 feet often show strong ribbing and rich coloration typical of deeper habitat material.

CONDITION

Nice paired specimen set with strong sculpture and attractive coloration. Minor trap or natural wear may be present, which is common for deep-water trap-collected pectinids. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the description.
