A striking matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from the Dry Tortugas. This specimen displays exceptional golden-orange coloration with brilliant yellow highlights radiating from the umbo, creating a vibrant and highly attractive appearance. The intense color and crisp sculpture make this a standout micro-scallop for collectors of Gulf of Mexico and deep-water pectinids.
Both valves exhibit strong radial ribs and excellent symmetry. The interior retains beautiful golden-yellow tones that complement the vivid exterior coloration, resulting in an outstanding display specimen.
