Lindapecten muscosus (W. Wood, 1828) – Bright Orange Matched Pair – 15.3 mm – TSC #0342PEC-TSC

A beautiful matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from the Dry Tortugas. This specimen exhibits an intense orange coloration with attractive lighter cream highlights along the margins and ears. The vibrant color and balanced symmetry make this an eye-catching addition to any pectinid or Gulf of Mexico collection.

The exterior displays strong radial sculpture with rich orange pigmentation, while the interior reveals soft peach and cream tones. Both valves are present and complement each other nicely, creating an excellent display specimen.

Condition

Excellent matched pair retaining both valves. The specimen displays outstanding orange coloration, strong sculpture, and excellent overall presentation. Minor natural wear associated with deep-water collection may be present but does not detract from its display quality.
