Lindapecten muscosus (W. Wood, 1828) – Matched Pair – 25.2 mm x 23.0 mm – TSC #0018PEC-TSC

A stunning matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from the deep waters of the Dry Tortugas. This specimen displays exceptional deep orange coloration across both valves, with strong radial ribbing and beautifully developed sculptural detail. The vibrant coloration is present on both exterior valves, creating outstanding eye appeal rarely encountered in specimens of this size.

The shell exhibits excellent symmetry and retains both valves connected as a true matched pair. The intense orange coloration, combined with crisp sculpture and complete hinge structure, makes this an especially attractive example of the species and a standout addition to any collection specializing in Gulf of Mexico scallops.
