A gorgeous matched pair of Lindapecten muscosus personally collected from the deep waters of the Dry Tortugas. This specimen exhibits striking reddish-orange coloration with intricate cream-colored markings radiating across both valves, creating a dramatic and highly attractive pattern. The rich coloration extends throughout the shell and is complemented by crisp radial ribbing and excellent overall symmetry.

Condition

Excellent matched pair retaining both valves attached. The specimen displays outstanding reddish-orange coloration, strong radial sculpture, attractive patterning, and excellent symmetry. The hinge remains intact, and both valves fit together properly.

Minor natural wear and small imperfections consistent with deep-water collection may be present. These are insignificant and do not detract from the specimen’s overall beauty or collectability. An exceptional display-quality matched pair with remarkable color and eye appeal.
