Exceptional deep-water Polystira albida collected from Pulley Ridge, Dry Tortugas, Florida. This elegant specimen displays the classic elongated fusiform profile of the species with sharply tapered ends, clean sculpturing, and outstanding porcelain-white coloration throughout.
Collected in 240–300 feet using baited lobster traps aboard the F/V AVA PILAR. The smooth glossy surface and symmetrical form make this a particularly eye-catching example of this desirable deep-water turrid.
