Scaphella elizabethae – 120.3mm – Dry Tortugas Florida Volute – TSC #0258VOL-TSC

Description

Beautiful Scaphella elizabethae collected from deep water off the Dry Tortugas, Florida.

An impressive specimen measuring 120.3 mm with strong color contrast and classic spotted volute pattern — a standout display shell.

The shell shows minor trap wear typical of lobster-trap collected specimens, but remains highly attractive and very collectible.

Rarity Note

A sought-after modern Florida deep-water volute that is not commonly available on the market, especially in this size range with full documented collection data. Specimens from the Dry Tortugas with known collector provenance are particularly desirable among serious collectors.
